Frida Khalo and Chavela Vargas - According to Vargas, after meeting Kahlo at a party at Casa Azul she went on to live with the artist. During their time together Vargas would often sing to Kahlo as she painted.
Kahlo loved who she loved. This is my favorite picture of her and have been wanting to paint them for some time. Their laughter and smiles in that moment are infectious. Love freely. Love hard.
